Naylors, a British farm steeped in history

We’ve been in business growing premium vegetables for over 100 years! Our founder, William Naylor, journeyed to Lincolnshire in the United Kingdom to support his sister in 1909.

He immediately fell in love with the beautiful countryside and decided to invest in a small farm. Throughout World War I and II, food was scarce. William worked the farm to provide a steady supply of food crops during this time of crisis. This work ethic has stood the test of time and is at the core of what we do.

Our farm-grown cabbages make up 50% of our coleslaw salads. To ensure you get the true taste experience, we only cultivate the highest quality cabbages including white, red, green and savoy varieties. To continue this premium quality from product inception to delivery, we manage the entire process in-house.

We are true to the ‘farm to fork’ method, representing the best of freshly-grown British produce.

  • Coleslaw is an all time classic!

The first coleslaw recipe can be traced back to 1770, in the cooking book The Sensible Cook: Dutch Foodways in the Old and New World. 
The author attributes the recipe to his Dutch landlady. She mixed thin strips of cabbage with melted butter, vinegar and oil.
